Jimmy Red is an old friend of Phil, Miss Kay, and Si. He appeared in some of the early episodes of Duck Dynasty. In Si-Yonara he helped Phil and Si do some work.

- He does not appear in the new episodes. He appeared in episodes in both seasons 1 and 2 but was absent in season 3. He was mentioned a few times however.
- Phil always refers to him as "Red."
